COURSE OBJECTIVE
The purpose of this course is to examine the evolving human resource function within today\'s organizations. Students will understand what roles and responsibilities of human resource managers are. Special focus of the course will be on understanding of human resource department contribution to the overall management of the organization. Students will also understand the difference and common responsibilities between human resource managers and other line managers. Finally, new trends in HRM system will be learned through job analyses and job descriptions, recruiting and selection of employees, training and development of employees, compensation systems, performance management systems etc.
