The course is for students who want to understand decision making for high-technology companies. This course helps to learn more about commercializing technology, how to manage innovation within a corporation, or how to protect an invention you might want to commercialize. The concepts and analytical frameworks are useful and relevant when you need to deal with rapid changes in the technological environment, intellectual property, organizational knowledge, and knowledge professionals.

COURSE OBJECTIVE
The aim of this course is to help students develop a strong conceptual foundation for managing technological innovation. It introduces concepts and frameworks for analyzing how firms can create, commercialize and capture value from technology-based products and services.
