The course will teach students a variety of topics in International trade, with emphasis on the effects of trade on developing countries. It will cover both theoretical aspects and practical applications that affect policy-making. The course is organized as an independent study, with instructor-student consultations.

COURSE OBJECTIVE
Analyze the interdependence that arises from international trade in goods and services

Understand gains and losses arising from international trade, and their impact on developing markets.

Analyze the patterns of trade

Understand trade policies and the impact of protectionism.

Analyze the role of international organizations in trade activities (EU, WTO, etc.)

Improve critical thinking skills.

Improve effective writing skills
