Over the past two decades modern biotechnology has been making a huge impact on humanity. Advances in information accessibility lead to higher demands by general public with regards to the understanding of potential applications. Unfortunately, sources of information are frequently not relevant and lead to wrong interpretation of concepts and estimation of potential hazards. During this course, the students will be given basic information on current hot topics in modern biotechnology.
