In this course you will learn how to write different types of essays. Furthermore, you will be introduced to different referencing styles, namely APA and MLA, and you will learn about different ways of avoiding plagiarism in academic writing. Through your homework assignments, you will develop skills needed for academic writing in your other courses and future career. This course will also introduce you to the writing section of TOEFL exam, thus you will be prepared for it when you decide to take it.
