COURSE OBJECTIVE
To introduce reinforced concrete structures for students. To explain their importance for everyday’s needs in construction industry. To preview briefly their advantages and weaknesses. To introduce the R.C. beams, cross sections, slabs, foundation footings, walls and columns.
To explain the important characteristics of concrete and steel for reinforcement as a material. The interaction between them during the process of reinforcing.
To explain the reinforcing methods and techniques. With the details of reinforcing.
